ANG POETIKA NG PINOY HAIKU SA FILIPINO

Binalangkas ang Pinoy Haiku bilang isang uri ng tulaing Filipino na naghahayag ng paghanga sa kalikasan at pagkalugod sa kapaligiran. Halaw ito sa haiku ng Hapon sa sinaunang bilang nitong 17 pantig na nahahati sa tatlong talatang may 5, 7, at 5 pantigan. Sang-ayon sa ipinapanukala, ang una at huling talata ng Pinoy Haiku ay may pitohang pantig at ang gitnang talata ay may limahang pantig. Kaya’t ang Pinoy Haiku ay lumalabas na isang pagbabagong anyo ng haikung Hapones ngunit ibinatay ito sa mga uri ng katutubong tula ng Filipino na tumutugma sa pitong pantig. Ayon sa balangkas ng Pinoy Haiku, ang magaling na taludtod ay nasa 7-5-7 pantigan at ang tatlong talata nito ay dapat may ganap na tugmang a-b-a. Ngunit maaring gumamit din ng alin sa mga tularang tugma, tulad ng a-a-a na isa nang kalabisan, at sa a-a-b, o a-b-b naman na hindi naa-angkop ang tugma sa sukat bilang kalugod-lugod na taludtod.

What is Pinoy Haiku? (1)

pinoy haiku is a poem that encourages love of nature and wild life; and aims

to create better awareness on the importance of ecology and the environment. 

in Filipino, your haiku must be in 7-5-7 syllables.

the lines may use any of the following rhyme schemes:

a-a-a, a-b-a, a-a-b, a-b-b, or a-b-c.

in English, the 5-7-5 syllables should be observed with or without a rhyme scheme.

the message of the haiku must deal with appreciation of the environment,

or respect towards nature, or care for balanced ecology.
